A Sub-User is an employee or team member within the same company who needs access to specific portal functions but operates under the main account's umbrella.The Channel Partner Portal allows you to create sub-user accounts, providing team members with appropriate access to your account.
Pre-requisites
- Active master channel partner account
- Required agreements in place
- Supporting documentation ready
- Commission structure defined
- Access permissions configured
There are two distinct ways to add agent sub-users ,this guide explains both methods in detail.
- Through the Admin Portal's Agent View: Administrators can add sub-users to any agent account they manage
- Through the Agent Portal Interface: Access the agent dashboard to manage sub-users directly
Method 1: Adding Agent Sub-Users from Admin Agent View
Step 1: Access Agent Profile
- Log in to your admin account
- Click on "Agents" in the left sidebar
- Find the agent in the list and click on their name or select "View Agent" from the actions menu
Step 2: Navigate to Agent Sub-Users
- In the agent profile interface locate the navigation tabs
- Click on the "Sub Users" tab to access the sub-user management section
Step 3: Choose Creation Method
On the Sub Users page, select one of two options:
Option A: Add New Sub User Directly
a) Click "Add New Sub User" button
b) Complete the registration form
- Sub User Name and Title
- Company Name
- Email Address and Phone Number
- Complete address information
- Select Account Status from dropdown
c) Optional: Check "Add Password" to set a password immediately
d) Optional: Check "Notify Sub User" to send welcome email
e) Click "Submit" to create the account
Option B: Invite New Sub User
a) Click "Invite New Sub User" button
b) Fill in the invitation form:
- Full Name of the sub-user
- Email Address of the sub-user
- Add Comment (required field)
c) Optional: Click "Preview Notification Email" to review the message
d) Click "Send Invite" to dispatch the invitation
e) The system will send a secure registration link to the email provided
Step 4: Manage Agent Sub-Users
1-Track pending invitations through the "Pending Invitations" tab
2-View and manage active sub-users in the "All Sub Users" listing
3- Use the Actions menu (three dots) to:
- Edit Sub User information
- Access Dashboard
- Assign Menu permissions
Method 2: Adding Agent Sub-Users via Agent Portal Access (Admin)
Step 1: Access Agent Portal from Admin View
- Log in to your admin account
- Navigate to "Agents" in the left sidebar
- In the agent listing find the target agent
- Click the "Actions" menu (three dots) for that agent
- Select "Dashboard" to access the agent's portal interface
Step 2: Navigate to Sub-Users in Agent Portal
- Once in the agent portal interface, look for the agent dashboard navigation
- Click "Sub Users" in the navigation menu
Step 3: Add New Agent Sub-User
Click either "Invite New Sub-User" or "Add New Sub User" button
Step 4: Complete the Registration Form
For invitations:
- Enter full name and email address
- Add a comment (required)
- Click "Send Invite"
For direct addition:
- Complete all required fields including agent association
- Set account status and permissions
- Click "Submit"
Step 5: Manage Agent Sub-Users
1- View all sub-users in the table listing
2- Monitor "Pending Invitations" for sent invites
3- Manage existing sub-users through the Actions menu
- Edit Sub User: Modify and update the sub-user's profile information, contact details, and account settings.
- Agent Split: Configure commission sharing and revenue distribution between the agent and sub-user.
