The Commission Reports module in Channel Partner Portals allows administrators to track, manage, and analyze commission payments to channel partners. This guide walks you through the essential functions of the Commission Reports system.
Accessing Commission Reports Admin Portal
- Login to your admin portal
- Navigate to the left sidebar menu
- Click on "Reports"
- Select "Commission Reports" from the dropdown menu

Main Interface Elements
The Commission Reports page displays:
1-Filter Section: At the top to narrow down results
2-Data Table: Showing commission details with multiple columns
3-Action Buttons: For importing orders and applying filters
4-Action Menu: Options for each entry (three dots menu)
1-Available Filters
- Date Range: Select specific time periods for reporting
- Channel Partner: Filter by specific partner
- Client: Filter by specific client
- Orders: Filter by specific order numbers
2-Data Table Columns
- Order Date: Shows when the order was created in the system, helping you track timeline of transactions.
- Order #: Unique reference number for each transaction that allows easy identification and tracking.
- Channel Partner: Displays the partner who facilitated the sale and will receive the commission.
- Client: Shows which customer made the purchase associated with the commission.
- Order Total: The full monetary value of the transaction before any deductions.
- Order Paid: Amount that has been received from the client for this particular order.
- Order Payment Status: Indicates whether the client payment is "unpaid" or "partial," affecting commission eligibility.
- Commission Amount: The calculated monetary value to be paid to the channel partner based on agreement terms.
- Commission Approved: "Yes" or "No" status showing if the commission has been reviewed and authorized for payment.
- Commission Paid: Indicates whether the commission has been disbursed to the channel partner
3-Importing Commission Orders
To import commission orders:
a) Click the "Import Orders" button in the top right corner
b) In the import dialog:
- Select the Channel Partner (required)
- Select the Client (required)
- Upload a CSV file by clicking "Choose File"(Can download sample to get guidance by selecting a tab at the top with Import Order title)
c) Click the "Import" button to process the file
- Note: CSV Import Requirements
Only CSV format is supported - Invoice# must be a six-digit number
- Do not modify the first row (headers) from the sample CSV
- All columns in the CSV file are required
- Required columns include
{ Invoice# (6 digits), Invoice Date, Collected Date, Net Invoice Amount ($), Collected Amount ($), Agent Commission (%), Agent Commission ($), Paid (Y/N), Quantity, Item Name }

4-Managing Commission Entries Using the Action Menu
Click on the three-dots in Actions column ,located on the right side of each row
Action Menu Options:
The Action Menu provides the following functions:
a) Add Payment: Process a commission payment for the channel partner
b) CP Payment Requests: View and manage payment requests submitted by channel partners
a) Add Payment/ Processing Commission Payments for Fully Paid Orders
When an order shows as fully paid in the system, you can process commission payments by following these steps:
i) Access the Action Menu: Click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the far right of the order
ii) Select "Add Payment": This opens the commission payment modal for that specific order
iii) The system will verify the order payment status:
- An alert with a red indicator bar will appear stating "Order Not Paid" if Order status is Unpaid/Partially paid
- For fully paid orders, you'll see the commission payment form with all fields available otherwise
- The modal will display the order number at the top for confirmation
iv) Complete the payment form:
- Commission Amount: Enter the amount to be paid to the channel partner (pre-populated with the calculated commission)
- Payment Date: The current date is automatically set but can be adjusted if needed
- Upload Receipt: Click "Browse" to upload proof of payment (recommended for audit purposes)
- Payment Method: Select from the dropdown menu:
- Bank Transfer (Domestic/International)
- Stripe
- Wire Transfer
- PayPal
- Other Payment Platforms
- Notes: Add any relevant information about the payment (optional)
- Finalize the Payment: Click "Approve & Add Payment" to process the transaction
After Processing:
- The order's "Commission Paid" status will update to "Yes"
- The payment will be recorded in the system for reporting
- The channel partner will be notified of the payment
b) Channel partner Payment Request
The CP (Channel Partner) Commission Requests feature allows administrators to view and manage payment requests submitted by channel partners
i) Accessing CP Commission Requests
- In the Admin portal> Commission Reports table, find the order you want to check for payment requests
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the Actions column (far right)
- Select "CP Payment Requests" from the dropdown menu
- A modal window titled "CP Commission Requests" will open
iii) Understanding the CP Commission Requests Interface
The CP Commission Requests modal displays a table with the following columns:
- DATE: Shows when the channel partner submitted their payment request
- PAYMENT METHOD: Displays the payment method requested by the partner
- PAYMENT DETAILS: Contains additional payment information (click the "+" icon to view)
iv) Next Steps After Reviewing Requests
After reviewing the CP Commission Requests:
- Close the modal by clicking the "X" in the top-right corner
To process the payment based on the request:
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) again
- Select "Add Payment" from the dropdown
- Use the information from the request to complete the payment form and click on “Approve and Add Payment” tab ,this will send the commission payment to Channel partner against the request sent.
