The OnBoardSoft platform offers powerful menu customization capabilities that allow you to tailor the navigation experience for your clients and agents. By following the documented procedures, you can create intuitive, role-specific interfaces that enhance user experience and streamline workflow processes.
Client Menu configuration
The Client Menu configuration allows you to customize the navigation structure by adding new menu items that align with your specific administrative requirements.
How to Add a New Main Menu
Step-1: Click on Add New Menu. Access the option to initiate the process of adding a new menu item.
Step-2: Select Menu type, Main Menu. If you want to create a new main menu item, select the option for a new main menu. This will allow you to categorize significant functions or sections that require prominent visibility .
Step-3: Fill in Required Information
- Menu Title: Enter descriptive name (e.g., "Dashboard")
- Menu Link: Use format "/client/[function]"
- Menu Icon: Use "icon ni ni-[type]" format
- Menu Sequence: Assign number
- Select Status: Choose Active/Inactive
- Default Menu: Set Yes/No
- For Sub Client: Check if applicable
Step-4: Click on Save Button
Once you have entered the information, Save and verify menu appears in list.
How to Add a New Sub Menu
Step-1: Click on Add New Menu. Access the option to initiate the process of adding a new menu item.
Step-2: Select Menu type i.e, New Sub Menu from Add new Menu drop down
Step-3: Fill in Required Information
- Menu Title: Name of submenu (e.g., "Signed Agreements")
- Menu Link: Format "/client/[function]/[sub-function]"
- Menu Icon: "icon ni ni-[type]"
- Menu Sequence: Number within parent menu
- Select Parent Menu: Choose main menu category
- Select Status: Active/Inactive
- Default Menu: Yes/No
- For Sub Client: Check if applicable
Step-4: Click on Save Button
After verifying that all required information is correctly filled out, click the Save button to finalize the new sub menu.
Note: Detailed documentation for adding Client Menu and Sub-Menu items has been provided above. The same configuration process applies to Agent menus, with identical steps and formatting requirements—simply substitute '/agent/' in menu links where applicable.
